Poor Diet in Toddlerhood Leads to Lower IQ

A recent British study shows that toddlers who eat a diet high in processed foods may have a slightly lower IQ in later life.

Shocking.

I hope to see many, many more studies like this (note: It was the biggest of its kind) funded & taken seriously–as I believe that diet is of extreme importance and isn’t emphasized enough.

Not *nearly* enough.

Processed food = bad news.

I think we all get that by now, but “getting” it and actually applying the info to our lives (& those of our children) are two very different things, unfortunately. Maybe one day in the (very) near future, it won’t be.

The study also concluded that school performance and later childhood behavior (including ADD & ADHD) are linked to diet.
